Invitado de Glaucoma: Sheng Lim

El Dr. Sheng Lim (Gran Bretaña) será uno de los tres invitados internacionales de la comisión de Glaucoma, coordinada por los Dres. Jorge Acosta, Marcos Geria, Paola Franciotti y Gabriel Bercovich. Adjuntamos a continuación un breve CV de este destacado profesional.

Mr K. Sheng Lim (MBChB, MD, FRCOphth) is a Clinical Lead for Glaucoma Service and Research lead for Ophthalmology Department at St Thomas' Hospital, London.

He qualified from University of Leicester Medical School in 1991 and trained in general  ophthalmology in London during his residency program. During his training, Mr Lim spent more than two years at Institute of Ophthalmology, Moorfields Eye Hospital and University of Brighton researching into the surgical treatment of glaucoma towards his doctorate degree from University College London.

In 2001, he received a scholarship from the International Glaucoma Association (IGA) to undergo  further research and clinical training for one year at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, USA.  He also spent two years as a glaucoma  fellow at Moorfields Eye Hospital.

His current research interests are in the area of glaucoma treatment and aqueous humour dynamics.
